Hogg Robinson Group (HRG), the international corporate services company, has announced that it has secured eight multinational contracts since 1 April 2006. This global success is complemented by an ongoing strong performance in the UK, with the company signing an additional £110 million of new contracts for UK-focused business over the same period.
Technology organisation Gambro AB is the latest international corporation to have chosen HRG to service its corporate travel requirements on a multinational basis – further demonstrating HRG’s extensive global client service and consolidation abilities and highly capable international network.
In the UK, HRG has signed some 24 new clients since the start of the financial year. The most recent contract award is international retailer Tesco. Following an eight-way competitive pitch Tesco cited HRG UK’s flexible approach and ability to adapt to meet individual requirements as key factors behind their final decision to appoint HRG UK to service their corporate travel requirements.
Other key UK signings include: insurance companies Resolution plc and Heath Lambert, global defence and security experts QinetiQ, internationally renowned Shire Pharmaceuticals, distribution and outsourcing specialists Bunzl plc, business process outsourcing company Hewitt Associates, aerospace experts Cobham plc and manufacturing organisation Intralox LLC. HRG's Government contracts include the Environment Agency and the Home Office under the OGCbuying.solutions Catalist Travel Framework Agreement.
In addition to its new business wins, HRG has continued to build on its strong track record in client retentions. The company has just been awarded another five-year contract for all Textron companies (serving the general aviation, aerospace and defence, industrial and commercial finance markets) across Europe, Asia Pacific, South Africa and Canada and UK contract extensions for BAA (the leading airport company), Inmarsat (the leading provider of global mobile satellite communications), Henderson Global Investors (fund managers) and Lloyds Register (risk management specialists). Each of these companies highlighted HRG’s excellent client service and relationship building capabilities as key factors in their decision to re-award their contracts to HRG.
In Germany, HRG and the German Football Association (DFB) have renewed the cooperation contract concerning their mutual company Euro Lloyd DFB Travel Agency GmbH, which runs until the year 2012.
