Top Travel Award for HRG UK Account Manager

Jenny Crewe, who works for HRG UK in Southwark, London, has been honoured with the Account Manager of the Year Award (Large Travel Management Company) at the prestigious TTG (Travel Trade Gazette) Business Travel People Awards 2006.

Jenny received her award in recognition of her innovative approach to account management, with the judges specifically noting Jenny’s work in developing an internal account manager training programme for HRG which has been rolled out across Europe.

Jenny has worked in travel account management for 17 years, seven of which she has dedicated to HRG UK. Her client portfolio is a diverse sector mix of international businesses. She has a wealth of experience and is able to identify clients’ exact requirements in each country around the world, enabling her to allocate appropriate resources and expertise worldwide to ensure outstanding client service.

Commenting on her award, Jenny said: “I thoroughly enjoy my role at HRG UK and I am absolutely thrilled to have received this award. I believe my success as an Account Manager is down to building lasting relationships with both clients and colleagues, identifying opportunities to continually improve the service they receive.”

Launched in 2005, the TTG Business Travel People Awards are designed to recognise and reward exceptional performance in the business travel sector. They are run in association with the Institute of Travel Management, whose members form the judging panel. The awards were presented at a prestigious ceremony, hosted by Evan Davies of BBC’s Dragons’ Den at The Waldorf Hilton, and saw HRG UK pick up a hat-trick of accolades with Liz McBride from Glasgow winning Reservations Consultant of the Year and Jane Lush from Reading collecting the Branch Manager of the Year award.
