- New technology on display at Earls Court 13th – 15th February -
International corporate services company Hogg Robinson Group (HRG) will be showcasing a range of new products and services at the Business Travel Show in London next week, demonstrating the company’s commitment to offering a comprehensive range of corporate services solutions and options tailored to meet client needs.
The new initiatives include:
- A proactive global travel and security alerts system
- Further enhancements to HRG Online, the company’s in-house developed, self service reservation tool
- The latest HRG initiatives to help clients in their drive towards a ‘greener’ way of travelling, including a CO2 Calculator.
HRG’s travel alerts service, powered by global security specialists red24, uses a live feed to inform clients, travellers and travel managers of the very latest travel and security-related incidents worldwide via email and SMS text messaging. The system may be used in conjunction with the company’s people-tracking solution, HRG Travel Watch, and plans are in place to integrate the service into HRG Online and the HRG Portal to provide a seamless online experience for travellers and travel managers/bookers.
HRG is adding a host of new features to HRG Online to enhance the booking process, improve flexibility and create added cost-control for its corporate clients. These include identifying ‘green’ hotels who comply to strict ISO environmental policies and offering the ability to ‘waitlist’ for flights.
With the impact of carbon emissions high on the agenda, HRG is also unveiling a number of new environmentally-focused initiatives including a CO2 Calculator which can immediately calculate the CO2 emissions produced for both one-way and return flights. The company is also helping carbon-conscious clients track their activity and monitor progress against targets by enhancing its online reporting tool, HRG Reporting, to encompass reporting by mileage and CO2 emissions.
