As part of its commitment to continuous improvement and to be able to provide an enhanced seamless service for its clients across borders, international corporate services company Hogg Robinson Group (HRG) has embarked on its restructuring programme in Europe. The new structure will enable HRG to operate on a Europe-wide basis, rather than by country, which better reflects the growing international focus of HRG’s multinational clients. At the same time, the new organisation will improve service to national clients.

As part of this restructuring programme and having successfully developed the HRG business in Austria, Peter Bernatzik, HRG’s Managing Director for Austria, will additionally be responsible for HRG in Hungary with effect from 1 October 2007. Combining the organisations in Austria and Hungary under single management enables HRG to work across national boundaries and further improve its objective to provide a seamless service for its clients. As the gateway to the former countries of Eastern Europe, the combined strength of Austria and Hungary also enables HRG to extend its technological competence in order to supply its clients with advanced products and services, including those used to control expenses.

Peter Bernatzik will be heading up a strong operation in Hungary, including one of HRG’s four Euro Centres in Budapest, and a great team of people. "For me, this appointment represents recognition of the achievements of not only of my entire team in Austria, to whom I extend my sincere thanks for their continued loyalty and support, but also the team in Hungary. We are all looking forward to working together much more closely and to adopting best practice in both Hungary and Austria so that our combined operation can grow and develop for the benefit of both our clients and our employees," says Peter Bernatzik.

Peter Bernatzik (39) has been Managing Director of HRG Austria since 2005. Starting in 1989, Bernatzik has accumulated extensive experience in the industry: with Rheintalflug, Lauda Air, Austrian Airlines and BTI Kuoni Liechtenstein, where he was Managing Director from 2003 until 2005.
