One of the world's leading planning, engineering, and programme and construction management organisations, Parsons Brinckerhoff (PB), has selected international corporate services provider Hogg Robinson Group (HRG) to service its business travel requirements for staff based in the UK and Ireland.

The multi-million pound three-year account, which was awarded to HRG following a four-way competitive pitch, will be serviced by a dedicated account team based in HRG’s European Service Centre in Glasgow from December 2007. In addition to ‘classic’ travel management services covering air, rail and hotel bookings, HRG will be implementing its in-house developed self-service reservation tool, HRG Online, for PB’s 1,500 corporate travellers in the region.

Commenting on the new contract, Neville Gray, Director of Facilities at PB, said: “It was essential to select a corporate travel management provider that had a good understanding of the diverse nature of our business and travel requirements. We were also keen to choose a company that could offer a variety of service options, including an online solution, and I am confident that in HRG we have a partner who will be able to work with us to deliver a flexible and service-orientated solution.”

The PB contract is the latest in a number of high-profile contract signings for HRG. As previously announced, the company has recently been appointed to provide corporate travel management services to the Ministry of Defence and Foreign & Commonwealth Office, Interpublic Group, Lloyds TSB and PepsiCo amongst others.
