Hogg Robinson’s Chief Executive David Radcliffe has been honoured with a 'Lifetime Achievement Award' by the judging panel of the 2006 Agent Achievement Awards.

Recognising Radcliffe's 'outstanding contribution to the industry' the award, which is the first of its kind, celebrates the 10th anniversary of the Agent Achievement Awards and comes just weeks after he was named one of 'The 25 Most Influential Executives 2005' by leading US industry publication Business Travel News.

Commenting on the award Radcliffe said: "This was a great accolade not to me, but to all the people who have given me their commitment and loyalty over the years. So it was in this spirit that I accepted the award."

The Agent Achievement Awards recognise and reward achievement and excellence within the UK's business and leisure travel industry. Initial nominations for the Lifetime Achievement Award were made by readers of online industry newsletter e-tid. The fifteen most voted for nominees were then put to a judging panel comprising seven industry experts. The award was presented during a ceremony which took place at the prestigious Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on Wednesday, 22nd March.
