Hogg Robinson Group (HRG), the international corporate services company, has announced its acquisition of Ian Flint & Associates and the appointment of its founder Ian Flint as Head of Global Consulting. Both will be effective from 1st September.
Ian Flint & Associates, a consultancy respected in the industry for its strategic procurement of travel for major blue chip clients, was founded in 1989 by Ian Flint. Ian, who has over 30 years of experience in the industry, will report directly to the Hogg Robinson Group Board.
Ian Flint commented: “I have always enjoyed a professional relationship with Hogg Robinson over the years. As we share the same vision of Consulting and belief in the future direction of the corporate travel industry, the acquisition of the business is seen as a natural progression towards a common aim.
“Ian Flint & Associates’ strong international client base and specialist expertise will strengthen HRG’s existing international Consulting offer. In my new role, I look forward to bringing together expertise from each operational region and delivering a global Consulting strategy in line with HRG’s capabilities and growth in the wider corporate services area.”

Prior to founding Ian Flint & Associates in 1989, Ian worked for the Forum group of hotels, a division of InterContinental Hotels, as Director of Commercial Sales and Marketing, and subsequently as National Director, North America for InterContinental Hotels. He also worked for Thomas Cook Limited.
Ian is a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants, chaired MICE Europe, and is an active member of the Institute of Travel Management, Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) and National Business Travel Association (NBTA).
